    Mr. JOHN REY I. VILLORENTE

John Rey is the Vice President of the Brand Management Division of IPI, an outstanding Cebu-based company and one of the Philippines’ leading manufacturers and distributors of a diverse range of globally competitive pharmaceutical and consumer products.

  • Passion for wellness

“Your Wellness. Our passion.” is the corporate philosophy of IPI, a pharmaceutical and wellness products manufacturing company now entering its 60th year. “
’Mahusay, Matapat, at Mapagmalasakit (Excellence, Conscientiousness, and Care for others)’ have been our guiding company values for manufacturing and distributing high quality and affordable health and wellness products developed through the Filipino ingenuity. Our passion lies in providing wellness, not just to Filipinos, but also to the rest of the world. Our company’s culture stems from our compassion for the people, so the founders of IPI have ensured that excellence, integrity, and compassion will all be carried out through all levels of our organization.
” To commemorate their 60th year, IPI held their first ever running event “IPI Run 2019” in May to promote health and wellness to people from all walks of life. It can be said the event was a great success as over 5,000 runners participated.

  • Giving back to the community

“We make sure that we give back to the community” says John, “we have supported the region through the IPI Foundation for 26 years now through our health and wellness campaigns, medical missions, scholarship programs, and environmental programs. In the event of natural disasters in Cebu and the neighboring islands, we promptly respond and provide medical assistance. We also actively support environmental campaigns. For instance, 360 tons of industrial waste was converted into bags or other handcrafted products and 5,000 bamboo plants were also planted in parts of the Philippines. Through these initiatives, we have helped with the world’s waste crisis and environmental problems while providing support for the livelihood of many people. There are approximately two million individuals who have benefitted from our various programs that aim to contribute to the prosperity of the community and the people.”
“At the end of the day, it is our consumers that determine our existence, so we will remain passionate in delivering products that promote wellness and continue to develop and improve our services and products in the best way we can with the consumers in mind.” says John, with a sense of steady development of their ambition and passion, aiming to bring health and wellness to more people domestically and around the world.
