Well Spa is a Thai-style massage salon with 4 established stores in Cebu City. They continue to do their best to provide their customers with comfort and wonderful memories of Cebu. Unlike small shop/store management, their management style is the same as a large corporate organization, aiming to provide good service with confidence by trained, specialist staff. Everything they do is for customers and Cebu.

Well Spa Management started with learning and watching on-site.

“We began as a beauty salon in Wellcome Hotel. However, considering the location, I found a spa would be more effective than a beauty salon for both the hotel and us in profit, therefore, I opened Well Spa 2 years ago.” At first, he hired professional therapists from the outside but, he found an inconsistency in their techniques, so they were unable to make a good impression on their customers in the same way. This made Mr. Bang create his own educational system for their staff.
First, he invited experts from Thailand and created and implemented an educational program so that all therapists could acquire the same level of skills. However, during that time, he had a deficit so he made it up by establishing three more stores in six months. “An educational system requires long-term investment. It is important to invest carefully, while providing thorough education in order to satisfy customers with consistent services,” Mr. Bang reviewed. Today, there are 70 employees responsible for specialized work and the whole is supported with the same organizational structure as a company.

Since long ago, he’s been charmed by Cebu.

Mr. Bang decided to start his business in Cebu when during a trip 12 years ago, he fell in love with Cebu when he realized he felt healed by it. “In the future, I would like to expand to a lot more franchises in Cebu. Well Spa focuses on maintaining cleanliness more than anything. I would like all of our customers to experience the speciality of a Thai-style massage in a clean environment, feel that Well Spa is the best massage salon in Cebu, and come again. And for the Philippines, I want to tell people from all over the world about the goodness of the kind and cooperative Filipinos.”
