This restaurant is named after the Cebuano word “lantaw” which means “watch or look”, because of its breathtaking view of the sea. This is Lantaw’s own version of the popular Filipino comfort food, Bicol express. What makes it different and special is the ingredients used. It is composed of mixed seafood such as shrimp, fish and squid, unlike the ordinary Bicol express which usually just uses pork. It is cooked in coconut milk and chili peppers, which is why it is served in a coconut shell.
