More than 90% of the population in the Philippines are Catholic. Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus, but also, it is the biggest holiday season in the Philippines. Parties and exchanging of gifts start in the second half of November, by then everyone will be very busy. These parties are similar to Japanese year-end parties.

In November, most families will start putting up their Christmas trees and of course large shopping malls and hotels are no exception. They usually show off their huge and magnificent trees during this time.

Let me show you the kinds of Christmas trees that major shopping malls and hotels in Cebu have this season.

First up, Cebu city's famous shopping mall, which is also just a minute away from Cebu-navi office, “Ayala Center Cebu”.
This huge tree in the mall is decorated and changes its theme every year, a lot of people look forward for this every year.

Ayala mall has a terrace, this is also a great dating spot for couples. A wonderful and colorful illumination starts in November.

Ayala Mall has one more tree in “Rustan’s department store”. It’s also a lovely place to spend your afternoon and evening.

Next up, is this Christmas tree in “Seda Hotel lobby”. It’s not too big but it’s very gorgeous!

Then we have this tree in “SM City Mall”! This year’s theme is “Christmas village”. Take your photo here and you will look like the town mayor.

This tree is from “Radisson Blu”, just beside SM City. It’s very tall and it actually almost touching the ceiling!!

When you look closer you’ll see the blue crystal like decoration. Here, you can also enjoy buffet at Feria, then take photos after your dinner.

Next is Robinsons Galleria! Upon entering you will immediately notice the huge guitar and Christmas tree in the middle.

Their tree has a lot of lit up windows around it which changes its color from white, red and green. You’ll have to move around to see it!

This Christmas tree is at “Summit Galleria”. It’s not big but has modern decoration.

Next is “J Centre Mall” beside “Toyoko Inn” This one is very tall and it reaches until the third level of the mall.
After checking this tree, you can go to “R-spa” massage shop and relax!

Next is “Sarrosa Hotel”
Next is “Sarrosa Hotel”. This tree looks like it came straight out of a Disney movie!

This tree is in a casino hotel, the “Waterfront Hotel and Casino” in Cebu city. It is adorned with lots of red balls.

This tree is in “Waterfront Hotel” in Mactan. It is different from the one in Cebu city.
This one will definitely give you the winter vibe! Lightings on the ceiling also resembles snow.

Last and number 1 in our list is “Bai Hotel”. It just looks so gorgeous!!
