A new metro entrance has been opened next to the entrance facing Ayala Mall and Luzan Avenue!
I haven't had a metro entrance for a while since the fire broke out at Ayala Mall in 2018, but it was completed on January 29, 2021 after a long period of construction work!

Location of Metro entrance
The entrance of new metro is located on the west side of Ayala Mall, facing Luzon Avenue!
It was under construction for a long time, so the view of the city changed drastically with the opening of this entrance.
Grand opening on January 29th!
The main entrance leads to the Ground Floor of Metro Department Store, which is the men’s department.

Many people were visiting the Metro because it was a grand opening ceremony on that day!
The exteriors of the building look very modern and posh – compared to the old Metro building. It now goes along with the class and elegance Ayala Mall always carries.
Together with the main entrance opening is the opening of the back entrance of the Metro Supermarket, which directly leads to the taxi lane, for the convenience of the shoppers who have no cars.
New floors on the 5th and 6th floors opened last year!
New floors (5th and 6th floor) in the Metro Department store recently opened its doors to customers shortly before the Christmas holidays of 2020. These floors have been closed for nearly 2 years, due to a fire incident that happened in 2018.
A food court will open on the top floor of the metro!
The 7th floor of Metro Department Store, which is believed to be the food court, is still under construction. There is no specific date yet as to when it will be opened to the public. We will be writing another blog update when the Metro food court opens!
