Moalboal is a small town in the southwestern part of Cebu Island. It is a popular sightseeing spot where you can make a day trip from Cebu City in just about 3 hours. It features a sea with clear waters, a beach with a superb view, and an American-style townscape. It is the most popular diving spot in Cebu Island. Divers from all over the world are attracted by the drop-off terrain, beautiful corals, sea turtles and giant sardine tornados, and encounters with varieties of rare fishes. One of the charms of Moalboal sea is the sardines that is seen during snorkeling. Its size is said to be the best in the world. Furthermore, sea turtles are easily spotted here! Just a few meters away from the coast, you can swim with sea turtles and sardines.

There is usually 1 bus running every hour from Cebu South Bus Terminal. It takes about 3 hours (With Air-Conditioned at P156) using the Ceres Liner Company (for Bato via Barili) or the Librando (for Badian via Barili) buses.If you take the bus, it will drop off at the bus stop near the Moalboal Market. From there, it is about 20 minutes by tricycle or motorbike to Panagsama Beach in the resort area.
