The popular Sinulog that we have been waiting for this year has come! The city is decorated and turns into a Sinulog-ready street for the Grand Parade!

“Sinulog” is a popular festival that attracts about 3 million people from home and abroad, giving off a variety of attractions. This 500 year old festival celebrates the history and tradition. In addition, remembering to worship the miracle statue "Santo Niño or the image of Little Jesus Christ".

Held annually in the third week of January, various events are held over nine days. The main highlights are “Santo Nino statue march” and “Grand Parade” held at Abellana National High School on the 3rd Sunday of January! The overwhelming and powerful dances of contingents dressed in brilliant costumes, and the performances that powers up every year are what people are looking forward aside from dancing with everyone.
The day before the finale, a local parade “Fluvial Parade” is held early morning, where you can enjoy a different way of watching the city. Also popular activity is the “Beauty Pageant” which is held several days before the grand celebration. Every year, there is a great cheer from the audience on the beauty of the various contestants in order to get the title of “Miss Cebu”.
Delight your body and mind as you celebrate Sinulog!
The dancers who decorate the parade, as well as the locals, wear colorful costumes to feel the vibes of the festival. Everywhere in the city, festival posters are affixed, Sinulog music plays, and special T-shirts and other goods are also on sale. On the day of celebration, why not paint and wear a Sinulog T-shirt to enjoy with everyone? Dance with light music and enjoy the festival with local people♪

1.Santo Niño Church
Santo Nino de Cebu is known as “Ang Balaang Bata sa Sugbo” or the Holy Child of the City.
This place is filled with devotees all year-round to utter their prayers and penitence.
This is one of the oldest church in Cebu. You can have a tour inside their museum and the Basilica itself.

2.Magellan's Cross
A cross given by the Spanish explorer Ferdinand Magellan as a memorial of the place where he stopped in 1521 to spread Christianity and baptized the locals. The octagonal hall was later built.

3.Fort San Pedro

4.Casa Gorordo
Cebu's first Filipino bishop, Juan Gorordo, and his four-generation family residence was renovated in 1983 to become a museum. With its own chapel, you can get a glimpse of the life of wealthy people in 19th century and learn about the history of Cebu. Check out cafes and souvenir shops!
