セブに長くいる場合、誰もが購入を検討するポケットWi-Fiがありますが、どうしてもフィリピンの環境では日本と比べ遅い！そんな時はポケットWi-Fiの購入がオススメ！

For the people who will stay in Cebu for a while, we recommend buying Pocket Wi-Fi. Because of the time difference between the Philippines and Japan, although you can use free Wi-Fi at school and hotel, the pocket Wi-Fi equipment is necessary for your convenience.

    SmartBroのpocket Wi-Fiをアヤラ･SM等のショッピングモールで購入(約P1,000〜P2,000)

    You can buy the terminal unit (about P1,000 - P2,000) at shopping malls such as AYALA or SM.

    Smart BroのプリペイドカードをP1000分(P300×3とP100×1)購入します。
    このP1000で30日間使い放題になります。1日から10日間、15日間も選択可。

    Prepaid card of SmartBro (P300×3 & P100×1) you can use the P1,000 card as much as you like for 30 days. There are other packages such as 1-10 days or 15 days.

    ポケットWi-Fiの箱を開け、中からSIMカードや説明書等出てきます。このSIMカードをスロットに差し込みます。
    その後電源をONにしてポケットWi-Fiを起動。電波を拾っている事を確認します。

    There is a SIM card instruction book in the box. First insert the SIM card into the slot as shown in the instruction book. Then press the power button “ON” and make sure it’s connected to a power supply.

    パソコン・モバイル端末でポケットWi-Fiに接続し、http://192.168.1.1と入力してアクセス。passwordを聞かれますがsmartbroで入れます。

    Connect on your PC or mobile. Enter the address http://192.168.1.1 Log in using password “smartbro”.

    ログイン後、SMSのタブをクリックし宛先に1510と入力。

    Click "SMS" to enter "1510" into the address space.

    メッセージ欄にreload12345678901234（カードの裏にある番号）を入力後sendで送信。これをP1,000分繰り返す。

    Enter "reload12345678901234"(number on the prepaid card) in the message space.

    宛先を2200にしてメッセージ欄にSURFMAX 995と入力して送信。

    Enter "2200" into the address space and "SURFMAX 995" in the message space.

    このメッセージが届いたら設定は完了です！

    Once the messages are received, you are free to use your Pocket Wifi!

Mobile phones are one of the necessary items in life.They're very easy to use!

短期旅行者や留学生にオススメなのが、プリペイド方式。モール等で携帯電話（約500php〜）を購入し、ロードカードを使いたい分だけ買ってチャージし、残額を使い切ったら再び入金するという方法です。セブには大きく分けて３つの携帯キャリアがあり各キャリアの特徴は以下の通り。

We recommend prepaid phones for tourists and students. Get a mobile phone (500Php～）and a load card for as much credit as you want at Shopping Malls or phone companies. Then charge the card to your phone. After the credit has run out, you can get a new card and charge it again.
There are 3 popular mobile phone companies (or carriers) in Cebu. They are featured below.

GLOBEをモデルに説明します

使い方は、まず携帯とロードカードを買ってきます。そしてロードカードの裏側のシルバー部分を削ると数字がでてきます。次に「223」に電話をかけると英語で「please enter call card number」と自動案内音声が流れるので、ガード左側の10ケタの数字をプッシュし、最後に♯を押すと、再度、自動音声が流れます。「please call pin number」その後カード右側6ケタの数字をプッシュして最後に♯を押すと、チャージされました、とアナウンスされます。その後Globeからチャージ されました。という内容のメッセージが届きます。これでセブでも携帯電話が使えるようになりました！

How to load a prepaid card. <GLOBE phone>

①Get mobile phone and load card. Scratch the silver on the back of the card to see your number.
②Call 223 and follow the instructions "please enter call card number", then enter the 10 digit on the left side of the card and press sharp key. Then you'll hear "please call pin number" and enter the 6 digit pin number on the right side of the card and press sharp key for completion.
③You will get a message from GLOBE after it has completed charging. Presto! You can now use a mobile phone in Cebu.
